WATCH OUT
Police in the U.S. may be planning to help Pontiac with their overstock. The G8 might effectively replace Ford's aged Crown Victoria as the vehicle of choice for many US police departments, which require large, V8-powered rear-drive sedans.

What if?
So if you've been reading this blog you know that we here at HotcarsTV are fans of the Pontiac G8(R.I.P.). However, you may not know that the rear wheel drive 2010 Camaro shares a platform with the G8. I myself would love a 4-door RWD chevy with a nice V8.

No more Firebirds for you fellas...
I know a lot of ya'll thought a new Firebird was bound to happen after the new Camaro came out. However, GM has decided to kill off the Pontiac brand. An official announcement is expected on Monday. Of all the brands to get rid of. They shoulda just stopped making Hummers and Saabs. On the bright side, maybe they will put them
G8's on a helluva discount......it could happen.

Say it aint so
It's looking like the major car makers will be trying to phase out a lot of the V8's out there in newer cars for smaller turbocharged engines. You better go buy those G8GT's and Camaro SS's while you can.
